How Weather And Moon Impact Fishing

Let's start with the barometer. The barometer is a powerful tool for measuring the feeding behavior of fish. The barometer is an instrument used to measure atmospheric pressure. Do not worry, I will simplify and cut through all the jargon so that we can get to what really matters, the catching of fish. The measurement of atmospheric barometric pressure can be used to help predict the weather and most importantly for our purposes, the feeding behavior of fish. Do not we all wondered why fish were so easy to catch yesterday, but today you can not even eat a piece?

That is when a low pressure front is building, I'm sure you've all heard this term in the Weather Channel, the barometer is low and falling and a storm is present or on their way. When the barometer is high or rising, the weather was fine and dry. If you watch the TV weather, which is what the great capital L or H refers to the weather map. L represents a low pressure system and H represents a high pressure system.

What does this mean for me fishing? Let me explain. Barometer is a very useful tool, which will open many "secrets" of fishing. You say: "Come on Trevor, is this really true?" The answer is yes, it is true. When the atmospheric pressure varies, which affects the air bladders of fish. Air bladder of fish is more to stabilize at different depths of water. When the air bladder of fish is not a good feeling that will not eat. Would you like to eat when you have stomach pain? Well, the fish is not.

When the barometer is low or falling, the fish spend most of their time equalizing their air bladder, and the last thing they think about food. When this happens, it will be difficult to fool a fish to eat. On the other hand, the barometer when the opposite is true, and increase your chances of catching a fish, much larger, because they feel more to eat.

Fish and wildlife knows what to expect from the weather and can sense when a storm is approaching, much more than we humans can. You've probably noticed that when the weather is nice outside all the creatures are active and running around on. This means that the barometric pressure is stable or above. On the other hand, when the barometric pressure is low, you will not see nearly as many animals around them, you will not be frolicking everywhere. Even the cows in your region will be set. At times like this it can be pretty quiet out on the lake or river, too. The fish are simply not active.

Understanding how fish adapt to changes in their environment allows an angler to better predict the movement of fish and fish food. To know when a fish eats is what interests us because that's when you have the best chance of catching the fish, he said. You may know that almost all saltwater anglers to check the tides before you leave the fishery. It is a very good strategy because the impact of fishing trips. But you realize what causes the tides to change, right? It is true that the moon. And the gravitational pull of the moon effects the tides push against evolution is also part of the earth all the time. So the pressure is still there, but because the water is easier to move the soil, the water rises to the moon causes the tides of change. How high the tide is high or low tide you can go is largely determined by the position of the moon and sun.

Know and understand this information is not only important for the saltwater angler as well. Freshwater fishermen are not coping with the tides and saltwater fishermen, but the phases of the moon are very important to them. What the fisherman wants to focus on the new moon and full moon periods in the calendar. The two or three days after these two events will result in increased fish activity. Simple as that.

I was planning my fishing trip to observe the same principles for years and it almost never fails. phases of the moon are a very real factor in the feeding patterns of fish. I always have more success in times of full moon and new that I am at other times of the month, and you can too.

What fisherman wants to try to do both of the elements are together in the same time. Perfect weather in one or totally new moon. When this happens, you have a great day of fishing, I promise. And if you pay attention, you may be out fishing, when this happens.
