Fishing By Moon Phase - Increase Your Catch
The dream of every fisherman to have more! Is it possible to know in advance when planning a trip to enjoy fishing, catch more than usual, and go home satisfied 100%? Based on my personal research on the best fishing times, I think it is.
When I started fishing, the best fishing time for me was whatever time happened to me as well. I tried different lures, baits and techniques until I spent a small fortune in my quest to improve my fishing catch. When I finally heard about the "Solunar Theory" - or fishing moon phase - like most anglers, I was skeptical.
From what I read sounded too complicated. All kinds of factors need to be checked and determined angler needed to be near water exactly at the right time, one minute, in order to improve his average catch. I was really ready to get serious about the hobby? Let's just say that curiosity got the better of me.
To help determine if there was any truth in the lunar effect on the best fishing time, I kept a record of every trip I made over a period of 18 months. Any information regarding the moon phases, weather conditions and the catches I made were carefully recorded. What I discovered convinced me that moon phase fishing works. BUT, I also found it is not as complicated as many would have us believe.
How fishing labor Moon Phase?
Every fisherman knows that times are better than fishing when the fish they eat. This is usually in the morning and at dusk, but that often goes unnoticed is a period of two days of rest - the Moon and the Moon sets. Since the moon has an impact on the various factors surrounding the fish - including a live feed of their hunt - these periods in a phase of the moon are what trigger feeding.
With this understanding, and choosing times when sunrise / sunset and moon / Moonset coincide with phases of new or full moon, you will increase your chances of catching good fish. Assuming there are fish around, of course.
Choosing the best fishing times
There's really nothing complicated about it at all, it's just a matter of knowing in advance exactly when the sun and the moon and setting. The fish are most active during the cycle of 90 minutes around each of these four events per day, is 45 minutes before and after these four points per day.
Fishing during these four periods will help increase your fishing catch, but if you plan wisely to make sure you're on the edge of water every day for new or full moon, you can use these 'windows' roll in a circle as you've never done before. If you have to choose between sunrise / set and moonrise / set, always with the moon as the moon is the strongest influence.
Hunters have always known that fish and game are most active at dawn and dusk - sunrise and sunset - but their activities around the Moon and Moon Set minus obvious, because these events are likely to be without influence change seen the light. Rising and setting of the new moon is invisible anyway, and overcast skies often hides the moon. Without the knowledge of the setting and time to grow, two of the best fishing time is lost every day!
Other Precautions
When planning a fishing moon phase, there are some other factors that should be taken into account.
Weather - the weather changes could affect the fish. When a storm or just after it was passed, is a good time. If this happens while you're there, you and your attention! However, if a cold front is approaching, the fish can move to deeper water and become inactive.
Season - Most fish are more likely to bite as seasonal variations in periods of transition to retirement during the spring and summer, winter and autumn are the two best times to fish.
Now that you know that moon phase fishing really works, there is no reason not to use this knowledge to increase their catches of fish being cleaned by hand with your rod during the best fishing times available . It's easy and it works!
Good luck!

How Weather And Moon Impact Fishing

Let's start with the barometer. The barometer is a powerful tool for measuring the feeding behavior of fish. The barometer is an instrument used to measure atmospheric pressure. Do not worry, I will simplify and cut through all the jargon so that we can get to what really matters, the catching of fish. The measurement of atmospheric barometric pressure can be used to help predict the weather and most importantly for our purposes, the feeding behavior of fish. Do not we all wondered why fish were so easy to catch yesterday, but today you can not even eat a piece?
That is when a low pressure front is building, I'm sure you've all heard this term in the Weather Channel, the barometer is low and falling and a storm is present or on their way. When the barometer is high or rising, the weather was fine and dry. If you watch the TV weather, which is what the great capital L or H refers to the weather map. L represents a low pressure system and H represents a high pressure system.
What does this mean for me fishing? Let me explain. Barometer is a very useful tool, which will open many "secrets" of fishing. You say: "Come on Trevor, is this really true?" The answer is yes, it is true. When the atmospheric pressure varies, which affects the air bladders of fish. Air bladder of fish is more to stabilize at different depths of water. When the air bladder of fish is not a good feeling that will not eat. Would you like to eat when you have stomach pain? Well, the fish is not.
When the barometer is low or falling, the fish spend most of their time equalizing their air bladder, and the last thing they think about food. When this happens, it will be difficult to fool a fish to eat. On the other hand, the barometer when the opposite is true, and increase your chances of catching a fish, much larger, because they feel more to eat.
Fish and wildlife knows what to expect from the weather and can sense when a storm is approaching, much more than we humans can. You've probably noticed that when the weather is nice outside all the creatures are active and running around on. This means that the barometric pressure is stable or above. On the other hand, when the barometric pressure is low, you will not see nearly as many animals around them, you will not be frolicking everywhere. Even the cows in your region will be set. At times like this it can be pretty quiet out on the lake or river, too. The fish are simply not active.
Understanding how fish adapt to changes in their environment allows an angler to better predict the movement of fish and fish food. To know when a fish eats is what interests us because that's when you have the best chance of catching the fish, he said. You may know that almost all saltwater anglers to check the tides before you leave the fishery. It is a very good strategy because the impact of fishing trips. But you realize what causes the tides to change, right? It is true that the moon. And the gravitational pull of the moon effects the tides push against evolution is also part of the earth all the time. So the pressure is still there, but because the water is easier to move the soil, the water rises to the moon causes the tides of change. How high the tide is high or low tide you can go is largely determined by the position of the moon and sun.
Know and understand this information is not only important for the saltwater angler as well. Freshwater fishermen are not coping with the tides and saltwater fishermen, but the phases of the moon are very important to them. What the fisherman wants to focus on the new moon and full moon periods in the calendar. The two or three days after these two events will result in increased fish activity. Simple as that.
I was planning my fishing trip to observe the same principles for years and it almost never fails. phases of the moon are a very real factor in the feeding patterns of fish. I always have more success in times of full moon and new that I am at other times of the month, and you can too.
What fisherman wants to try to do both of the elements are together in the same time. Perfect weather in one or totally new moon. When this happens, you have a great day of fishing, I promise. And if you pay attention, you may be out fishing, when this happens.
